I know an excellent audiologist here in Lexington: Dr. Anne Olson at the University of Kentucky Clinic. She is an outstanding clinician and will do all that she can to help Lilly and your family. Please go see her. You'll be so glad you did. :)

My daughter (Lilly) was diagnosed with a profound hearing loss. I am feeling so overwhelmed! Today was especially difficult. While Lilly and I were at the park, an ambulance drove down the street, sirens as loud as they could go, and Lilly didn't even seemed to notice. And, to make matters worse, the audiologist at the hospital is going to be out of town for the next two weeks, but I can't wait until then to give my Lilly the help she deserves. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding audiologists in Lexington?

I just wanted to thank everyone at Kentucky Communication Disorders for creating this very helpful website. My child was diagnosed with a severe hearing loss just three weeks ago and I have come back to this resource again and again. Keep up the excellent work!
